Bet turn in hand one, raise more on the turn in hand 2. Rest look ok I think.

Actually raise more preflop in #4.

Well, I guess I will.

-- Hand 1

Bet the turn. Get some money in there with a strong hand. Losing sucks but part of the game.

-- Hand 2

Raise flop. As played make your turnraise bigger. No getting away on the river obv.

-- Hand 3

Check call that turn most of the time I guess. As played fold to the allin.

-- Hand 4

Bet flop. The way you played it you are guessing all the way.

-- Hand 5

I think its ok. Might bet/ fold the turn here.

-- Hand 6

River fold seems in order. You lose to most acesa and that flop is incredibly dry. It also doesnt look like he wants you to fold.

-- Hand 7

Fold preflop. Terrible hand to call a raise with if you are the first to call. Wit 1 or 2 fishy callers in fornt of you its ok. Fold flop. No way you are getting the odds.

To summarize:

- Play good hands faster, raise bigger.

- Follow up your preflop aggression.

Hand 2: Raise much more on the turn. A minraise? WTF

Hand 3: You're not beating anything on the turn. I'd check and see if I have odds to draw

Hand 5: I'd bet the turn. That board is pretty drawy and I don't like giving a free card here. There's the turned flush draw that is pretty possibly with Jxdd hands and QJ has a gutshot and JT or T9 has an OESD

Hand 8: Fold preflop? UTG raise from a guy with a half stack. Your implied odds aren't very good, reverse implied odds are high, and you won't be able to play the hand confidently unless you hit 2 pair, a flush, or a straight.

[/ QUOTE ]I thought betting turn in hand one turns my hand face up. Villain is a regular. There's no draws so I thought by checking it might look like I was trying to steal it. Is this bad?

Hand 2 I minraised so hopefully the BB comes along too. Minraising/betting river makes it very hard for a villain to fold an overpair with the pot being so big, doesn't it?. So I figured I was getting his stack either way... What does raising more accomplish?

#1 bet the turn
#2 I might just call the turn again, I dont like the min raise at all it shows too much strenght. I would also raise the flop alot
#3 I would check the turn
#4 slightly more preflop, really need stats for this hand but I think you should fold the turn
#5 Bet the turn, call if he shoves the rest
#6 fine
#7 depends on villain but I fold river
#8 I dont like calling raises with this hand, especially vs a short stack. Postflop is fine

Hand 1, you have to bet the turn to take Qx and over pair type hands to valuetown.

Hand 2, Raising more stacks 3x hands and gets more value out of top pair/overpair hands, also minraising looks very strong as Praetor said.

Fold getting 3:1? I guess you think my two pair / trips outs are never good?

Very good points though, thanks. I guess I just feel so unconfident in my game, and apparently I have good reason to. I need to work on playing more straight forward apparently.

hand one: wtf? bet the turn. no reason whatsoever not to do it.
hand 2: do not minraise. It gives away to much info to cheaply. I only use it as bluffs once in about 15k hands.
hand 3: betting the flop is not good imo, you're asking to get stacked only drawing to your flush draw. I play NFD+weak ace pair passively.
hand 4 raise to more preflop (to 20). Bet the flop at least 75% and fold to any raise or bet later. Nothing else you can expect from JJ in a reraised pot.
hand 5: what's with raising the flop checking the turn? I never do it and it sucks. Doesnt induce any bluff or call later and you give freecard. Stop this.

I'M burned out.
