($60) AJs vs UTG-raiser
Is this okey against an unknown villain? This is at the bottom of my pushrange btw.

Readless I fold. I shove if the CO opens.

Re: ($60) AJs vs UTG-raiser
Is it crazy to advocate calling? You are OOP and most flops will miss you and you will be facing a c-bet. But with everyone pretty much even in stacks if you are sitting on 2K on the button you aren't in terrible shape.
You can re-evaluate after the flop -- if rags flop you can go for the stop-n-go. If you flop an A or a J you can pull a c-r all in because if you are certain he has AK or AA-QQ then you should be folding anyway. Seems like re-raising is getting called by better hands but folding out worse hands or worse putting yourself in a coin flip a little early. Note: $60 is above my buy-ins, but I'm assuming players still steal / raise with air and a 5-handed UTG raise is not always the dead nuts. If I'm wrong - report me to BBV. |

I'd shove if he opened to 500

[/ QUOTE ] My point of view from a lower buyin ($16) is: I would fold this because its a coinflip vs PP or i'm dominated by a better kicker. I would never call it because no flop w/o JJJ or JJx helps u. On any A flop u can be dominated, also a J looses against BigPokets. Against loose aggressive opponents i sometimes push read dependent, but never call. |

Re: ($60) AJs vs UTG-raiser
My pushing range here greatly depends on who is opening, and at this point in the SNG, I'll *at least* have some HUD stats on them.
