Default Obama

There is no doubt that Obama has become extremely popular in the media.

Obama's lack of experience does not bother me at all. In fact, I think it's a plus. He's clearly very intelligent, so he can learn as he's campaigning and learn on the job if he get's elected.

I find it disturbing how willing people are to vote for a person with almost no idea of their opinion on any important issues. What the democrats are proposing here is effectively a blank slate - this seems very dangerous to me. Sadly it does reflect the reality of how people seem to vote, which is not based on issues but on some nebulous impression of "what kind of person he is".

Give me Ron Paul any day. He looks kinda awkward and shifty in real life but he has VERY well defined opinions on all the important issues and a long voting record to back it up. And crucially, you know he's willing to stick to his guns!

The guy's a total communist. And he has flair. This is an extremely dangerous combination.

Shouldn't that have been obvious based on the word "Senator" preceeding his name? How many anarchists participate in government?

I agree. Obama may have similar traits. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
