QQ against an AKx flop
Villian is about 14/11/2.2 after about 20 or so hands. The fact that he called my preflop raise and bet out at this flop OOP makes me think I'm drawing thin...

Re: QQ against an AKx flop
Who is oop? I think it's you, sitting in the blinds. And villain is not just betting out. You checked to him after you reraised him preflop. That's a huge show of weakness on a board like this. Just lead the flop and give it up if he calls or raises.

My thought at the time was "crap, that's about as bad a flop as I could have gotten". I suppose if I had been the one betting out, I'd have gotten much more useful information. Thanks |

c/f the flop. There's not much you beat.

This is a standard bet/fold play.

Re: QQ against an AKx flop
bet / fold the flop.
check / fold for half pot is not good, even if he's connected with the board, he will be scared because you reraised and bet. |

Re: QQ against an AKx flop
nice hand, I just tell myself, can't win them all and let it go. If you constently call in situations you will lose money over time, even if your ahead every once in a while.
Nice play. I don't like bet/folding in this situation, sometimes if only one over card comes, but even then I prefer to check on flop. |

Re: QQ against an AKx flop
If villain is really a 14/10/2, that is less likely. Although it is more likely that he has decently connected here, I can see villain fold some weak aces that he wanted to isolate with or smaller pps. And there is the flushdraw that might make him dislike his A9s or whatever. So I think a cbet has some value.
