Nice pot, but min-raising pf is kinda gross except if thats been the table standard.

Anyways, GL!

The reason that I min-reraised there was because the table was being really tight. I wanted to entice some action, but normally everyone folded to 3x bb bets. From the time the money started, I hadn't seen many flops with my 3x bb raises, no matter what position I did it in. I thought that if I min raised, I'd get at least one caller, or better yet, a reraise. Once that first guy min-raised back I was planning on raising him back up, but it helped when that lower stack went all in and I was able to go over top and put the huge stack on the table to a big decision.

As far as that last hand, that same guy I had almost knocked out earlier around the bubble, and knew that he had a tendency to bet big on the flop if he raised preflop and had nothing. If he hit something he would just bet small trying to entice me in it. He was actually stronger than I gave him credit for, but luckily I had some outs and hit my card for a set. Once he raised and I reraised him up to half my stack, I was staying in the hand no matter what he did. Oh, and on top of that, I did a search by his name through the databases, and I wasn't able to find any type of profit, which doesn't necessarily mean a whole lot, but it was enough to help entice some chips from him earlier.

Great thing about this for me is that now in 180s I'm 5-0 heads up. Now, if only I could take that and apply it to STTs...

Thank you all that were railing me, I do appreciate it.

For those that were railing, here was the hand that I played against Sparks, the one that I went all in and made him fold after the turn. He was playing very cautious since he took the chip lead with about 15 left, so I had a feeling that he would lay down middle pair or something if he wasn't sure what I had. It also helped I think that this was the first time that I had pushed over anyone in the middle of a hand like this, so he thought that I was prob. strong.
