Stars CS superior again...
Just sent this e-mail to PSTARS customer support(Wasnt really expecting anything but thought it was worth a shot):
"Hi there... My name is **** ********* and I have been a member at pokerstars for a cpl of years. But I just started playing heavily there in december of 2006. Im was gonna go for supernova in febuary, but im no longer sure. I really like your software and I have heard that your customer support is one of the better when it comes to poker sites. My problem is that I spent 72000 (36000 for each) points on 2 samsung 20" monitors January the 4th of this year. Only a cpl of days later I read on 2+2 that people are bying these for 28000 points. I feel a bit cheated since I wasnt informed at all or even got an indication that the prices were going down in the coming days for these monitors. Its only 16000 points I lost total. But from what I have heard of PS Customer Support they always strive to be fair to their players. Is there anything I can do to be reimbursed for these 16000 points??? Or was I just screwed? Thanks in advance!!!" Within 10 minutes I got this reply: "Hello Jesper, We have credited your account 16,000 FPPs. Thank you for being a VIP on PokerStars. Regards, Scotty PokerStars VIP Team" Maybe not interesting at all to some people. But I figure its worth mentioning when a company steps up to the plate like Poker Stars seem to do most of the times!!! My 2 cents at least... |

Re: Stars CS superior again...
def thought the thread title was sarcastic but that is really nice esp considering they would have been correct to just say tough luck... I mean really do they have to announce price changes constantly?
