Neteller EFT's to take 2-4 weeks.

I just got off the phone with Neteller's VIP CS dept.

I was calling about an EFT I initiated on the 15th. Which says it cleared two days ago, but has not yet hit my checking account.

Basically I was told even though it says "accepted" under status, that it would be as long as two to four weeks for it to actually hit my bank account. This being due to the high volume of EFT requests they are getting.

She said "The third party company that performs our withdrawal transactions will be backed up due to the high volume of EFT withdrawals we are receiving." And "I'm not saying it will take that long, but this is the time frame we are being given."

I said "This being related to the change in U.S. service right?"

She then said "Yes it's directly related to that."

Sooooo that kind of stinks. In hindisght I'm glad most of my cash was in UB at the time, because the amount I did have in Neteller seems as though it will be in internet limbo four 14 to 28 days....

Edit: Oh yeah she also said that this delay will affect any EFT's initiated on the 12th of January and after. She was very helpfull and all, but this is still a big bummer.

Neteller owes me $2000 per cashout request on the 15th.

Thanks for posting this. i initiated a eft withdrawl on the 13th, and while it says accepted, it's yet to hit my bank. good to know to know there is an explanation for this

I am in the exact same situation you are (it's said the EFT has been cleared for 2 days)

The person I talked to said 2 weeks, and probably before that, so that is somewhat better news than 2-4 weeks.

$5k per EFT...

they owe me quite a few EFTs right now...

Not quite the same thing, but I did 2 Insta-Cash deposits LAST WEEK, and while they've been deducted from my bank account, they still show as "pending" in Neteller. So the money I DO have in Neteller now can't be moved anywhere (card, peer-to-peer, EFT, etc.) until they clear.

I think the backlog is only going to cause further delay.
