read on villain may be made up in my head to fit what i want here, but generally he has been playing fairly honest, mostly on the passive side but CBs most everytime out of obligation. He's definitely a bit of a light peeler but not a complete loose passive showdown bound monkey.
He's also got no recent reason not to trust me, I've been killin the table and showing down good hands/ winners most everytime altho ive been betting and raising a ton. villain raises in CO, sb calls, hero calls with 53 of diamonds flop 9d 7 2d sb checks, hero checks, villain bets, sb folds, hero raises, villain calls turn A bdfd out hero bets, villain calls river Q no flush hero bets.... |

CRing the flop is standard for me. I also follow up on the turn almost every time especially with a read that he is a light peeler. With that read you aren't going to get the fold on the flop alot and are going to have to follow up (maybe that makes the flop cr a bad idea I'm not sure - but still the way I play it - it's an interesting question though, if you have a guy you know is probably going to peel on your cr is this line right?).
I'm not sure on the river. With the read and your table image you are probably getting a fold enough to make it profitable. Seems like this board had to have got a piece of his range at some point though. I think the river is pretty read dependant. From your description I think a bet is good. |

I would just c/r the flop.
The only other way I can see playing it after our donk would be to check raise the turn, but that gets expensive because in this case I think we have to follow it up with a river bet in order for it to work since it might look like we're bluffing an A and I think if he bets this turn he calls this turn, and the turn is probably checked through a lot anyway unless he has an A. As played, I like the lead on the river and not giving up because villan's range includes UI overcards considering his flop call. I'm not sure what to make of his turn call. |

once he calls the turn A, he's not folding the river nearly often enough. If turn and river are blanks, then i play same. Only another flush draw might he fold, and those i think he will play faster on flop or semi-bluff turn ace.

I agree with 27. If he is calling this turn he is going to the showdown. I hate to give up on this pot, but I don't think you are going to get a fold on the river nearly enough at 6:1.

Disclaimer: Its close!!!
[ QUOTE ] once he calls the turn A, he's not folding the river nearly often enough [/ QUOTE ] However, I agree with this. You are rooting for the 2 missed FD's which IMO isnt enough in this pot. |

river bet no good. theres v few hands he can call turn with that arent showing down
if the board was like t92a9 a river bet would be fine |
