Default 100nl KK reraised pot in pos vs a solid lag, some history

Villain is a lag and seems solid. I have given him a thorough looking over in PT, but he probably doesn't realize I have any reads on him.

My image is probably that of solid and tight, yet aggressive. I've been reraising him a lot preflop.

Three days ago he stacked me with some suited gapped junk where he flopped a straight against my overpair.

How would you play this?

I think my push on the flop was probably overkill. And I probably didn't take stacksizes into consideration.

Given how I played it, how should I play future against against villain where I have position and he donks me in a reraised pot, or other similar reraised pot situations?

Anyone think raising gives him a chance to push over me with a draw if I have shown that I raise donkbets habitually? Anyone worried about him just calling?

If you raise you have to go to at least 55, which leaves an easy push on the turn if he calls regardless of the card. Possibly slightly better than pushing.

If you do this, you have to play AdKd the same way sometimes. If you're pushing AdKd here every time, you'll get found out if you never do it with overpairs. Of course, that might be overestimating your competition at this level.

I think it mostly overestimates how much longer we will be playing against each other at the same tables. Once I'm feeling confident it's back to 100nl for me. And I'm not so sure he won't have to adjust his lag style as he moves up.
