200nl - AA oop, drawy board
I'm wondering what the best line on the turn is. Villain has about $95 remaining so I don't think check calling is an option since it would leave us playing for stacks by the river anyway. Do you check fold or just go ahead and push him allin here?

Re: 200nl - AA oop, drawy board
Flop bet was weak - on that board Id be betting very near pot, despite its a reraised pot.
As played, B/F turn. Edit: Also preflop should have been more |

Re: 200nl - AA oop, drawy board
I bet 2/3 pot on turn, fold to a raise.

Re: 200nl - AA oop, drawy board
IMO, the only hand that calls that you beat here is KK, and you barely have any equity against that considering he would have a straight draw and possibly even a flush draw on top of that.
As far as protecting your hand, what are you protecting against? I can't really think of any likely possibilities. For these reasons I check here, and very rarely call a river bet depending on a good read, bet size, safe river. |

Re: 200nl - AA oop, drawy board
Make it more on flop, at least 3.5 times his pfr. When you do this and its more than 10% of his stack, you'll be comfortable gettting it all in on flop and turn most times.
So bet more on flop and rest on trun. With rr action, you dont fear flush. The AK is what you may be looking at, but oh well, unless he's supernit and can only have AA-QQ/AK ever here. |
