Default Po-jay-to

Jay, the super-cool epoker host at Hollywood Park, asked me this trivia question a couple of weeks ago.

"What is the only hand you can't have in Texas Hold'em, if your pocket cards are 9T?"

He said the answer is "a nine-high straight." (Because if you have the board to make a nine-high straight, your pocket cards will give you a ten-high straight).

Turns out there are other answers that are also valid. Any four of a kind with any kicker lower than 10 is also an answer. What say you, po-jay-to?

No pair, nine-high.

Aces and jacks, four kicker.

Pair of sevens, with king, nine, and six kickers.

I'm not getting the uniqueness of the straight, even as one of only a few answers, sorry.
