Default 100k 12 left set against another big stack

Villian in this hand seems to be ok, haven't seen too much crazy stuff out of him. He reraised me once earlier and I folded. Also he floated me on the flop and then I check folded the turn when he bet.

Do you have to go broke here?

OMFG yes I go broke if he somehow has us beat. I don't see how though, unless he has exactly 98dd. If so, then you got pretty unlucky and need to pair the board!

or badly played QQ against a preflop raise.

I would probably go bust here too.

Yea, pretty much. Sucks that he had 98d, but you'll see Big Q and other sets here often. Just have the river pair the board for you...

If villain flat-called preflop with QQ, he is pretty bad. I find this hand unlikely to be a part of his range.

If villain called preflop AND floated the flop with 89, he is very bad. This hand should not be in his range. If it happens to be though, you are still drawing very live.

In fact, I have a hard time believing you actually were behind on the turn here. If you were, wtf.

We all agree on this hand though.. so results please? I can't believe it if you lost.

I can see QQ calling here with payout implications and a tight UTG player. By the way, was this a minraise? What were the blinds?

Dadswell,
1) Bookmark this thread
2) Go back to it exactly one month from now
3) Reread thread
4) Laugh at yourself for considering a fold

Now... if the turn had been the 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] maybe you can consider a fold
