Re: i\'m supposed to fold teh turn, right?
how can you fold for 100 more after youve put in 160 with top two
you have 6 outs I think your 3 bet made it a call |

Call the C/R intending on doing what on turn?
Also, I am glad to see that youve changed your avatar Jay. |

Re: i\'m supposed to fold teh turn, right?
As played, you probably have to call because of your re-reraise.
The pot is about $300 and it's $100 to call. Given his stats and the fact that this is 1/2, he's probably not doing this with an overpair. From pokerstove: We're about 20%/80% against: QQ,99-88,AhQh,Ah9h,Ah8h,JTs,7h6h So, If we call pot is about $400, and we'd be expected to win around 1/5(400) or $80, which is more than the $100 to call. It's close, but I think this is a fold. If you include 98o+98s in his range, however, this is a call. (34% equity = $136) If you include ONLY 98s plus the above hands, we have 25% equity, and it's almost completely neutral EV. Edit: It's probably also worthwhile to note that QQ is probably less likely because he would reraise, esp. from the big blind. He only has a 9pfr #, so he's probably not reraising 99-TT from the BB. Rerunning the numbers without QQ make very little difference. The biggest read here is if he'll play 98o/98s to a raise from the blinds. If yes, this is a call. If no, this is a fold. |
