Default NL50 - TPTK

cb on the turn almost always induces a bluff with worse hands than TP, so I called his PSB...

BB checks, Hero bets $4, BB calls $4.

Turn: ($13.75) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)

I agree with your turn check strategy and villain has KJ/QJ/JT often enough for this to be profitable, but its very marginal

pair of sevens would probably call in the BB.

would probably call on the flop with second pair - he is probably looking for a cheap showdown then bingo the miracle card comes

bet the turn to get value from weaker jacks and for protection as the board just got a lot more drawy.

I think betting turn and checking river is way better than trying to induce a bluff on turn.

I agree with this board. On a less drawy board with the right villian I think checking behind on the turn to induce a river bluff can be good though.

Bet $9 on turn, check behind river. River is close, reads help. I'd probably call river, the PSB looks a little fishy (that or you're in the wrong lane going to valuetown). I think you're good enough on river to call.
