i don't think you're planning on folding, so i think shoving is better than calling

The Don

Why do you suspect the ten on the turn is a bad card?

I think you're winning here nearly all the time.

I think 2/3s pot (~20) might be a more appropriate bet but generally when the pot is $30 before the flop, half-pot bets are all you need in order to play for stacks with 100 BB (for instance, cts always bets half-2/3s pot in reraised pots for 100BB and players like good2cu bet half 100% of the time).

As for betting the turn, I think it has its merits but I was thinking that if he checked behind (which I thought was likely), I would be more likely to get paid off with a river push, which would have been exactly a pot-sized bet.

In this case I didn't know what to do when he bet 1/3 after I checked, folding and calling seemed terrible and poor so I pushed and he had J10o, oh well.

Flop bet should be about $24. He might not have called here in case he has a T. I'd probably c/c this turn and reeval river- probably c/c reasonable river bet.
