Reading the title of this thread before I opened it I thought "Shove."

Now I agree with that more.

So you think there is a chance he would fold if we shove?

No but you have to be ahead of his range.

Considering how healthy I am and how small the blinds are I need to be a lot better than just ahead of his range to call a shove if he had shoved.

Just for clarification, what do you think his range is here because I think a lot of opponents have a very specfic range with this type of huge raise, medium pocket pairs. Am I way off base here?

this is a medium PP so much more often than it is a dominated ace.

I don't think he's folding a LOT. But I do think he's folding a reasonable amount of the time....enough FE to make it worth it. His range doesn't include super-premiums normally. More hands like mid-pp and AQ.

I fold this, I think he's 80%+ a small-medium pocket pair. small chance for AJ+ and small chance for Qs+. In any case, I don't think he's folding and he had made a somewhat bad play, giving the relative stack sizes and blinds level, I would need at least 60%+ chance to win to call this and I just don't think you would have that.

I fold here too although I think there's a better change is a bit better than it's tempting to give him credit for. I think he's most likely 99-JJ here with a good chance of AK also and a slight chance of QQ+. I really don't see him making this raise with a low-medium pp.

I shove here readless. He has to be an idiot, whatever hand he has. If he has QQ+ he`s one and also if he has crap.
We had many similar question like this (overbets PF etc) in other threads.
I think the conclusion was that you scope and play accordingly.
Readless, i will push and make a note. You should be flipping at worst ( i just can`t figure out, how this could be KK/AA).
