$ 60: Help me play low PPs in level 3...
The raise has been tight, played one hand that went to show down (AQ, won with a flush against shortie AI). I'm getting good odds, being in the BB and since the SB called and the hand plays itself at the flop, but at the same time it costs me 1/13 of my stack

Call. Like you said the flop plays itself and you are only risking t100 but the buttons stack is big enough to win significantly if a 2 flops.

I like a fold here. But say if CO raised and both button and SB called, I would call.

Re: $ 60: Help me play low PPs in level 3...
This was an auto limp for me up until recently. But I've been reviewing my hand histories and wondering why so many times I entered push/fold rounds w/ only 900-1200 chips and it was because of hands like this.
I'm not sure if it's correct to take the odds and limp here but if we limp here we're down to t1200 and we probably haven't had a real playable hand yet. I also checked on some of these hands and even when I did make a set I didn't get paid off enough of them to warrant a call. Now I may be off, but that's my reasoning. |

Re: $ 60: Help me play low PPs in level 3...
If button is raising with 50% and SB is calling with 30% (and both those ranges are a bit wide) then we're only about 30% to win if we see all five cards. We're not seeing the turn and river here pretty often....I'm folding.

Re: $ 60: Help me play low PPs in level 3...
Honestly, this looks like something I wouldn't even think about calling.(I think I'd go as far as to say I'd prefer a push to a call although that is simply outlandish) That is of course accepting the fact that there weren't a bunch of callers. You still have a decent amount of chips and when you miss your trips I feel like your stack size is significantly depowered (word?) by losing the 100 chips. Oh yeah.....level 3 sucks bad.
