The preflop raiser is a donk and are playing far to many hands. Plan for flop- lead out, or hoping that someones bet to check-call or check-raise?

leading or check-raising both would be fine imo.
i dont like check/call at all. it gives cheap cards on a drawy board and also does nothing to build a pot which you'd like to do on the flop. |

With str8 draws and flush draws Im definitely either betting out or check raising. Im only check raising if I know the players after me well enough to know that they will bet if I check. The pot isnt big but its nothing to be sneezed at either so I dont want to risk losing a pot I should definitely win.

by the way, my standard is to CR more often in situations where there was a raise preflop since it's less likely to be checked behind then.

Thing is that I didn't had a read of whether villain was an aggressive donk, or just loose/passive. Perhaps leading out is better then... ? |
