Perfect Playing Style
Johnnie Chan said that this year's winner of the WSOP Main Event had the perfect playing style for this type tournament, i.e., large playing field. Anyone know what kind of style that is?

Re: Perfect Playing Style
Raise frequently to disguise your hand. Bet all of your draws. Hit all of them on the turn or river. Never have to make a tough decision.

[ QUOTE ] sorry i'm new to all this, does race mean AIPF? [/ QUOTE ] yes [/ QUOTE ] What? I don't believe that is a good definition. If two people get it all-in preflop with AK against AA, is that a race? I think a race is when people get all the money in, and the equity for the different hands is very close. And it doesn't have to get in preflop I think. Examples: T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] vs. A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] preflop 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] vs. A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] preflop A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] against 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] on 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] board. Regarding the question in OP: There is no "perect way" of playing poker. The reason for this is because everything is a new situation, because of numerous factors that are present at all times, and always something is different. The only way to learn how to handle these new situations that will arise is to play, practice, learn and develop your skills and instintcs. |
