Raise this river?
Live 3/6 - hero is in the cutoff with 4h5h. Hero calls predicting a cheap flop (and hero was running well this day). Six limpers total (the button, two blinds and 2 MP)
Flop is Qh 5c 9h SB Checks, BB bets, MP1 folds, MP2 calls Hero raises, Button folds, SB folds BB calls, MP calls. Turn 2d SB bets, MP calls, Hero calls (highly confused by the SB bet, so I just flat call) River 2h SB bets, MP calls, Hero??? I don't want to say I had a read at a 3/6 game, but the woman donking the turn was typically a call station. I'd seen her bet before (so not a total call station) but the turn bet was highly suspect. |

Re: Raise this river?
First off, the cards have no memory and don't care if you've been "running well." A good limp is always a good limp, a bad limp (like this) is always bad.
Flop is good. Ram and jam with your premium hand. Easy river raise. Puke and call if 3-bet. She could have a multitude of holdings, and even if she has a boat, lots of LP's won't raise fearing a bigger full house. |

Re: Raise this river?
I'd probably fold preflop and yes raise the river.

Re: Raise this river?
Looks like a slowplayed set that turned into a boat on the river. Raise. (although 52 sootid is also possible; they are, after all, sootid)

SB bets, MP calls, Hero calls (highly confused by the SB bet, so I just flat call) [/ QUOTE ] I'm highly confused about the SB bet also cause it appears he mucked his hand on the flop. Did he have a change of heart? Any why not claim to have a read at the 3/6? it's easy enough to do. |
