Re: Cigars...
I've tried quite a few. My regular, nice cheaper cigar of choice is Flor de Oliva Gold or La Gloria Cubano. If I have the time to really enjoy the cigar, I'll splurge on a Macanude Gold or a nice Romeo y Juliet or something.
I'll try whatever, though. I smoke about 2 a week. |

Re: Cigars...
I'm kind of a cigar newbie, but I find drinking cigars with any kind of hard liqour or spirit makes the cigar 100x better.
I usually smoke romeo & juliets only because the first time I had a cigar, my friend recommended it, and it was ok. Recently my friend bought me a box of cohibas from dominican and I have been smoking those. |

Re: Cigars...
Cheaper, "everday" smoke (not that I come close to smoking that much): Hoyo de Monterrey Double Maduro. If you buy by the box you can get 'em for like 2 bucks a stick through JR.
Slightly more expensive (maybe $3-$6 per stick): The Edge by Rocky Patel; Padron 2000 or 3000; Gurkha G3; Montecristo Buena Fortuna; Partagas Black; La Gloria Cubana Wavell. Others, but those are the ones that I've liked the most. -McGee |

CA just increased cigar tax by like 100%. Anyone have any suggestions for internet shopping. |

Re: Cigars...
Romeo Y Julieta, Cohibas, H. Upmans are all great cigars. Cubans of these brands are great of you can get a hold of them but the Dominican Republic ones are very good too. I'm an aficiando of sorts, but damn California hates when you smoke outside even.

Padron Anniversary, Ashton VSG, Cohiba Siglo 3. My cousin owns a cigar store, free cigars all day.
