I'm trying to get some advice regarding opening a Neteller account. I'm in Canada, but should I be opening a US$ Neteller account? I play on Party and Stars and want to minimize conversion fees. Would transactions between my poker account and Neteller cost me anything that way? Also, I would like to make cashouts about once a month. What's the recommended way to withdraw funds from Neteller? If they sent me a US$ check I could cash it at my Canadian bank and it would cost me some money but perhaps that's the best I can do.

I made the mistake of opening a Canadian $ account when I first started...Neteller will get you with their extra 1.9% each time you move money on or off poker sites. Open it in US$, then find your best solution to getting your money out of Neteller. Some use Party...they give a very good exchange rate - deposit from Neteller, play, withdraw to bank account. Cheques might be a good option too. |

If you are using the bank option at Party Poker (which is the best on the net imo because of amazing exchange rate) then there is no reason to deposit with neteller. Just use PP eft system, it's called electronic transfer.
If at Stars, use neteller. |
