Default Live 1/2NL..Set 8\'s, st8 board

Edit: Its NL100, 100.00 max buyin game, small local cardroom.

Reads: Hero has been fairly tight, has a solid image for this table. SB plays any two cards to any raise, likes to mix it up, and is always welcomed to the game. UTG is a new player, been tight, and aggressive when in a couple hands, and couple times called has had the goods.

Stacks:
Hero: 160.00
SB: 90.00
UTG: 150.00

UTG limps, couple limpers, hero raises to $12.00 [8c8h], only SB and UTG call.

Flop: 8,9,10 (2 hearts) [$40.00]
UTG bets $15.00
Hero raises $45.00
SB goes all in for $78.00
UTG goes all in for $123.00

Hero ($103.00 left)?

UTG has a str8, but for the pot odds i think you have to call and hope you fill up, its live cash game, if you lose rebuy

I call. Villains' ranges could be as wide as overpairs, JJ+OESD, straight, two-pair, sets, 77+OESD, pair+FD, OESFD, overcard(s)+FD, GSSFD, etc etc.

You're really only screwed completely vs 99 and TT. You're ahead of all the draws and two-pair hands. You have a decent redraw to a full house vs straights. So, I'd call.

i really have a tuf time believing either limped with 99 or 1010, but UTG having j10 given your read is pretty obivious IMO, what SB has is irrelavent, your looking at 8 outs on the flop and 11 outs on the turn, your getting 3 to 1 on your money, you HAVE to call this unless you think one of them has a higher set

I figured I had to call, hoping for a boat. Figured the price was close. Also thought at least one of the players were drawing to the flush/open ended st8. As it turns out, SB had 67, UTG had QJ...both were already there.

No boat for me.

With this type of hand, is calling the option only when the money is just over 3-1?

If this situation was different and UTG and I were both very deep, and UTG had pushed over SB...would it be an easy fold? If it was say another couple hundred? Since the push would look like an isolation, is it close or easy fold?

its a easy call with TT and a close fold with 88. The reason being that there are now also worse sets in his range giving you plenty of equity to call. Besides I am physically unable to fold top set (and its nearly impossible to fold bottom set for me )...

typo earlier, i obviously meant UTG had QJ not J10 with your read, If he has another 200 or so and he pushes then i think you can fold and feel good about it... but no with the odds your were given, NH, tuf break
