yeah, i was very surprised when they brought it up. i told them it was ok if they wanted to look at the chip #s, but figured no way in the world would a deal happen.

then everyone else was happy, and $1000 is a big chunk of bankroll to me, and i didn't want the stink of the non-dealing person to knock me out.

pretty weaksauce, i admit, and i'm embarassed that i made a FT sweat thread for it, but 100x the buyin is not too bad.

Yeah, I figured it was a decent chunk for you if you were talking chop and you were one of the big stacks so the deal benifited you. Considering you got second place money I'd say you did pretty well. I was just a little dissapointed to show up and see a chop in progress.

Congrats on the score though!

thx, and thanks for the sweat of the chop! hopefully next time, i can just go ahead and win.

hilariously i finished 6/6 when we played it out for pts. 22 < AQ blind vs blind (I shoved into the short stack from SB). Then I shoved over a raise and call holding TT and got called by AQ and lost that flip too. So $1000 for 6th, lol.
