8 PTBB/100 impossible?

A friend of mine claims its impossible to reach a winrate of 8 PTBB/100 on NL50 or higher over 100k Hands, when you multitable 4 or more tables. I think he's wrong. What do you guys think about that? To be honest, i've never seen stats that can prove this. Even in pokey's survey i havent found stats above 40k Hands.

I think the problem is that someone who beats a level with 8 PTBB/100, wont stay on this level for 100k hands.

Do you have some screenshots i could show him?

It's definitely not impossible. I don't have 100k hands, but:

200NL: 13k hands with 10.2 PTBB/100
100NL: 14k hands with 10.9 PTBB/100

I don't have 8 at 50NL or 400NL, though.

13k and 14k hands are nothing. But no, 8 PTBB/100 is definitely not impossible, I'm sure a higher stakes pro could easily crush NL 50 for 8 or more PTBB/100. However, there's no reason for anyone good enough to beat the game at that rate to play 100k hands at that level.

i 8 tabled 50nl on stars for 8.5 bb/100 over 20k hands so im pretty sure i coulda done 8 for 100k while 4 tabling if i wanted too. but yea it has obv never been done cuz n e one who has that kinda of success at 50nl doesnt stick around much so i bet it hasnt been done by anyone here cuz they would have to b pretty dumb and hate money to not move up and make more monies

I'm really doubtful that someone can beat 50NL for 10+ PTBB/100 over say 100k hands. I think it may be possible if the person was at the right site and played at the correct times but I think it's impossible if someone was thrown at a random table.

I have 70k hands at 200NL at 8 bb/100...and that's 9-tabling...

I def think 10PTBB/100 can be done. You have to avoid tilt which I can't seem to do. But yeah no one will stay around that long at 50NL unless they're a super BR nit.
