Default For people who play Micro limits...

I've played Micros forever, but i'm breaking even.

I have picked up 30 buyins at the 10NL level since November, but i've always wondered, if you just set mine, can you make money at these levels?

I take a few high variance moves like pushing big draws and such, but really, is that even needed considering no one notices?

If you only play say ATs+ and pairs, can you make money at low levels?

YES.

Long story short, I taught my clueless little cousin the absolute basics of FR play. I think he runs 12/7 or something like that, basically playing only sets/overpairs/big Aces, and he's a winning player at 5/10NL.

Granted, it's incredibly boring playing like an uber-nit and he doesn't win much (10BB/100 I would guesstimate?)

15/10 can be a winning style, yes. The trick to playing tighter is that even the donkey's realize your somewhat of a nit and don't pay you off nearly as often.

For this tighter play, wouldn't it make more sense to play full table over 6 max?

i was just gonna suggest that. this strategy will work at 6 max but will b much more effective at FR.

you'll have a lot more fun if you learn to play more hands, you'll also have more of a chance at moving up
