I don't think MP3 is a blind steal. With tp and a weak flush draw I'm raising this flop.

I like the way you played it because HU, an early raise makes tight players simply fold worse hands due to the small pot.

short answer, we're likely to have the best hand, so for value.

longer answer, i guess is related to the shorter answer, some hands that are likely in his range (pairs up to qq, aq, aj), are likely to call our turn bet in search of pairing up or of hitting the flush on the river, so we get an extra bet out of him by raising the turn. the wa/wb line taken here lets him fold on the river when he doesn't hit. if we are behind now, which i think is less likely, we do have some redraw outs. and if the river is scary, we can potentially check behind so it'd have been a free showdown raise.

Because if I'm ahead it is probably at risk of being drawn out on and if this guy is a typical 18/8 (or whatever it was) he will probably fold to aggression, if he doesn't I'll adjust next time this situation comes up. Without reads on what this guy 3-bets with I'm not convinced I'm behind. Granted some of this is based on seeing him c/f the river, probably best to leave that off next time.

The only thing that makes me question whether or not this is super standard wa/wb is the fact it's a blind steal situation. If you're going to disagree with the line adress that please.
