1 fold, UTG+1 (poster) checks, 4 folds, CO calls, Button calls, 1 fold, Hero checks.

Flop: (4.50 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, CO folds, Button folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (3.25 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero raises, UTG+1 calls.

River: (7.25 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)

I called the flop figuring I had 6 outs. Which in hindsight is wrong. But then i get luck [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]... but then i get unlucky [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Comments on all streets please.

Edit: I didnt know if i should have called this river but i justified it for myslef (probably wrong) because i was getting 9:1.

I really don't think the play was too bad. The river was dirty I presume.

Why six? Getting 5.5:1, you'd need 7-8 outs to call. You have five, no?

About the flop - are you saying counting 6 outs was wrong, or calling with 6 outs was wrong?

Both. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] You have 5 outs - two 8's and three 9's. I don't know where the sixth out is comming from. But even with six outs, you don't get the odds (though it's close; however, your implied odds aren't too great with just one guy left...).

I'd rather bet-fold the river than check-call. Villain can play too well when you check to him.

The 6th out is my BDSD... And I called figureing that if i hit i would earn at least 2 more big bets from villain giving me enough implied odds.

what about the flop though? as played... meaning since i checked, do i have the implied odds to call? Also how do i respond to a raise if i bet out?...would i call and c/f a missed turn?
