Re: 27 worst played AK ever?
preflop i'm putting it in for sure, but as played, you can't fold the flop ever

Re: 27 worst played AK ever?
The only thing I might disagree with is preflop. Reraising all-in here is pretty good. As played, you can't fold this flop. I wouldn't be surprised a bit if you were actually ahead. And if not, you have outs.

Re: 27 worst played AK ever?
i thought it was a good play until villain flipped over AA. how tight of a range would you put the average multitabler?

YOu can't fault yourself for that. It happens. YOu still have outs against him anyway.

Re: 27 worst played AK ever?
While I'm running PokerStove computations for posts.....I think it's an instacall EVEN IF YOU KNEW he had AA.
Board: 6h Kh Th Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 43.586% 43.13% 00.45% 1281 13.50 { AhKs } Hand 1: 56.414% 55.96% 00.45% 1662 13.50 { AA } EDIT: OK, maybe not INSTAcall, but you see what I'm getting at. |

[/ QUOTE ] Actually, I'd fold if I *knew* that he had AA. The equity edge there is just too small. With over 20BB left, I'd fold in that spot and wait. But, poker isn't about knowing exact hands, it's about ranges. And you'll be freerolling vs another AK here more often than you'll be facing AA. |
