Default KK - River Question

I've been paying a lot more attention to reads in my game lately. Having said taht, I have no read and no stats on this guy. I've been playing for about 10 minutes and I haven't noticed anything about him in any way (probably not a huge fish).

PokerStars 5/10 Hold'em (7 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, UTG calls.

UTG checks, Hero?

I think you have played the hand well to this point.

I'm not too sure here. I think there is value in a river bet. I would usually bet in this situation.

I often wonder about these situations myself...

I really don't think you will be good enough if you are called here. I think it's a check. There are a lot of two pair and even set hands he would have bet on the turn and just called your raise with. I think he's in check/call mode here. He probably has 99o.

Question to those that want to bet:

If you bet, do you call a CR?

I missed some action in this hand before and I've changed my mind on what I think is correct on the river. I think this should be checked through.

I think there are a lot of likely hands that can beat us, and of those that don't, they won't always call the river with this paticular board.

If we do happen to bet, and we don't have a speciic read on the villain as capable of an insane river raise without the goods, I think we'd have to lay this down to a raise.

Hate situations like this. Since I don't want to fold to a c/r, I check behind and hope for AT.

For me it looks like a clear check. Villian opens from utg (7handed) and the typical opponent would have som kind of ok hand. When you call the flopchekcraise and raise the turn you have showed him strenght (you also threebet him preflopp)and he should be aware of this.)
What kind of hands he can have that you get value from the river?:
AK (no) AQ (have you beat) AJ (he might make crying call) AT (would he really call?)
A9 (how can he call?) A8 (how can he call?)
A7 (have you beat) A6-A2 (he will fold..)
Pairs: you beat no pair except 66-22 (he will not call)He probably will call with all other that beat you.
KQ (beat you) KJ (possible crying call) KT(would he really call?) K9 (how can he call?) K8 (how can he call?) K7 (have you beat) K6-K2 (folds)
All Q beats you.
JT, J9 J8 J7 beats you
T9 T8 T7. etc.

Action indicates he may have AT, but with no reads there is just to many hands that beat you and he might be playing to passive/tricky etc. And that AT may well be its way on the way to the muck the moment you fire the betbutton.

Check.
