The Aston Martin, of course. When in doubt, always spend the extra $15k.

Edit: wtf, the CLS is only available in an automatic? Definitely get the vantage.

The Vantage will work well after 10,000 miles, and that's a nice thing to know.

EDIT: You're comparing 4 door saloons to two door convertibles, you know this right?

obv they are different class of car each with their pros but just wanted to see what people would prefer to buy generally if they could afford it

edit: Personally I think the styling of both cars have many similar aspects from the front and 3/4 views not only in pictures but also in person.

Are you saying that the Aston is going to be more reliable in the long run than the Benz? I don't think that would be the case. The build quality in Benz's has declined but as far as reliability i would put my money on the Benz. British cars are known for being unreliable.

Mercedes' reputation has declined, and AM's has notably increased. The earlier DB9s had some minor issues but from what I understand most of the bigger issues are gone.(Realize that no car is flaw-free.)

Besides, what's it matter what a countries history is for carmaking? German cars are known for being solid right? Mercedes...

Even if they're equally unreliable, AM's a much more exclusive(read: cooler) car. Should be reason enough!

If you get the benz, make sure you lease it. Expect the transmission to [censored] up after 6 months of ownership.
