60$: Sick AK hand against good reg (getting raised on a dry board)
Hi, i think this hand represents a very common spot. If you just look over it, you might say, easy push. I know that. But IMO its something like folding QQ PF. Sometimes you should do it, although not always. I know that Villain ("AjaxAchill") is a good regular and a huge winning player. This guy is somehow sick, because on the one side he is unbelievable aggro (exspecially later) and plays AK like AA, but on the other side he is also tight. I think he sees me as a reg, too. So here`s my question: Can anybody get away from this hand on the flop or is he n-th leveling me? Afaik he will fire again on the turn, whatever he has...So i have to decide now if i get it in or not. I didn`t play him so much, but some donks curse on him, when he joins. Does anybody have better reads etc?! Re: 60$: Sick AK hand against good reg (getting raised on a dry board)
i've played with him some in the 27s and i've never seen him make any kind of move in level 1 without a very strong hand. he has AQ,AK, or 99 here. do you feel lucky?

has to be 99 id say. i dont think a huge winning player would ever try to n-th level a tight solid reg.

Re: 60$: Sick AK hand against good reg (getting raised on a dry board)
I guess he had 99 there. Would some limp behind and call with AK/AQ ?
99 should be really the only hand you should fear, maybe slightly AQ, but only slightly. |

Re: 60$: Sick AK hand against good reg (getting raised on a dry board)
sorry for the hijack, but what if you had roughly the same situation with blinds 25/50 and stacks of 2000? more of a fold or a push?

Can you beat anything that he makes this play with? I would say this is 99 or AQ a very high percentage of the time.
