Default Jaimie Gold-Regular Columnist For Cardplayer?????

Just got my latest issue in and Shulman mentions Jaimie Gold is going to be a regular columnist.

I could've posted this in B&P or NVG, but only OOT can truly understand what this means......

Dude's the #1 moneywinner of the year. He toyed with thousands of people and emerged unscathed. He sent Allen Cunningham running to his mommy. Of course he should be a columnist! Why wouldn't he be?

Because he's excrutiating to watch. And winning one tournament does not make you an expert who should be giving advice.

That's like arguing that the NY vs. Boston Poker Challenge is good tv.......

Sorry, I forgot that in OOT you need to post Chuck Norris pics, hope this covers me for the infraction.

Cardplayer isn't really a strategy magazine.

To be frank, the content in cardplayer mag isnt that great. Daniel Negraenu's column is worth reading, but can you name anything else? Phil Helmuth bitching about a loss? Not surprising they brought JG on board. Now he can let us all know how he really "trapped him."

Gold has had a decent amount of table experience, at least compared to most of the other final tablists (outside of Allen Cunningham of course). Nothing in a tournament as major as a $10K buy-in, but he is certainly far above average.

I still hate him though.
