Dummy-ended straightened mullets (77)!
Villain is 54/12/1.77 after 59 hands. Nothing else known.
I should be raising PF with 77 in CO right? hand: http://www.pokerhand.org/?724430 How should I play PF and every street? |

Yes, you should be open-raising 77 in the CO. I would be open-raising it from any position.
Turn is fine, and just call down after his raise. |

Re: Dummy-ended straightened mullets (77)!
Okay, thanks Scotty. What about the flop when it's checked to me and there are 3 overs?
Down to which pocket pairs will you raise with from any position. Shouldn't we look to flop a set with small PP and that's it? I know that at Pacific Poker, unless it's a tighter table, you won't get people to fold with continued aggression, and PF raises aren't respected as lots will call 2 or 3 cold. In my case, should I just raise PF and drop them to boards with 2+ overs when someone bets into me? Should I bet out if checked to me as in this situtation? |

Re: Dummy-ended straightened mullets (77)!
Flop bet is just fine. In a 3-way unraised pot, I will basically always bet when checked to and last to act if I have any pair. If the flop were a little less coordinated, I would occasionally make the bet with any 2 after it was checked to me by both players.
I'll raise down to 66 from any position, and 55 occasionally. When first to act, I am folding everything else (22-44 and 55 sometimes) unless there are perfect table conditions. That would be when everyone after me was extremely loose and very passive, meaning there is a VERY high chance I'm seeing the flop with 4+ players without much fear of it being raised behind. |

Open raise preflop good.
JT8 FD flop not good for you. Bet/fold OK. Bet the 9 turn as you did and fold immediately to that raise. |

Bet the 9 turn as you did and fold immediately to that raise. [/ QUOTE ] There's no way we can fold this turn. We are getting 5:1 and there are a ton of possibilities for his hand that we beat. He needed to have check-called the flop with a gutshot Q (or made straight) to be ahead of us now. He could have a set, 2-pair, flush draw, 7 for a split or a ton of other hands that we beat. |

I think if he raises he has a Queen King-Queen for a better straight 99% of the time. |

Suppose villain just calls on turn. What's my action if checked to on river? If checkraised? If bet into?

I realize you are probably exaggerating a little with your 99% number to make your point (at least I hope you are). I still think this call down is reasonable though. |
