Default Stars vs UB/Full Tilt

This is a question from someone that doesn't know a ton about rakeback.

Say I play on UB or Full Tilt at lower limits (a lot of hands), but I get back $500 per month in rakeback from an affiliate.

Why would I play PokerStars? Currently I'm a Bronzecard VIP. I see that you can move up to Silver and collect FPPs faster, but could I come anywhere close to making $500 rakeback at say 1,000 hands per day average at NL25?

The best deal by far to play at right now is UB.

Bonus + rakeback + points for cash.

Hi Troll,

PokerStars has a pretty good rewards scheme for high volume players, though if you are only getting $500 per month back from UB/FTP it might take you quite awhile to work up to the levels required to receive similar compensation from them.

The games at PokerStars are also widely rumored to be drying up of late as most of the multi-tabling pro's from Party moved over there.

Moral of the story: you are probably best where you are

Hope that helps

Regards,

Heidi

Thank you both for your help.

While you were answering, I was doing some research and basic analysis (don't ask for my math!) and came to the same conclusion for the NL25 level.

UB 47 hands/dollar
FT 61 hands/dollar
Stars 211 hands/dollar

Also, the hands get dealt faster at UB than FT and Stars.
Also, UB is 10 handed instead of 9 handed.

Also, are you adding in the points for cash promo?

OP, u seem to be very concerned with getting the most value out of ur time...with that being said, i don't see how stars would work for u...go with UB with their promo and RB...

How fast does the UB bonus clear compared to FT?

forgive me for thread jacking, but since we're on the subject, where do you go for the 35% UB rakeback bonus? have I already missed out on that opportunity? How are the 50nl and 100nl players on UB?

do absolute poker and ultimate bet now share tables and players?

UB's max rb is 30 I believe. Combined with their normal bonus and the promo bonus it's the best deal out there in my opinion. I don't think they share anything yet; the merger hasn't happened.
