Default The Orangeheat Band - Please review

There is a band that is called orangeheat out of Germany that I borrowed my previous avatar from.

They have a short demo on their website of a new single (on the right hand side) Has anyone heard the full version? Also what would you classify this as - i.e soft rock, ???

Sorry no girl trouble, trainwrecks,or lawn work trip reports - just curious what everyone thinks.

they are ok. My first impression was a 6/10. I personally think music needs to be "listened" to before you can give a formal opinion/review.

I would like to hear more. Are they good live?

Not sure - they are out of germany. This is the first snippet I have heard of their music. Seems laid back.

eeeey!! Hi!!

Here's one of the bandmembers of the german band "Orange Heat". (I'm the singer who "sucks".. - but I'm the guitarist, too!) *hehehe*
Thank you for your comments!

We are a new rock-band and we did't have a live gig so far. But this year we want to show "the world" our music.
We actually have 19 own songs - but recording is soooo expensive, so we only recorded the song "Lost" so far. More songs coming soon!

All right.

Greetings from Germany.

Let's Rock.

The mix is pretty terrible, I imagine you were rushing the whole process to save money.

The drums are intensely weak.

Singer dude: where are your balls? You're singing as if you're afraid of waking up the people in the next room. Put some balls in it, man.

Studio time is expensive, but if you're gonna do it, really do it. I understand having a demo song on your website is instrumental in getting gigs, and this will probably do for most small clubs. Get your own recording gear (it's becoming very cheap) or shell out for the proper time.

Catchy tune with potential.

;-) Hi Sober,

Thank you for your opinion. I know what you mean!
Well I know the recording isn't the best... but we have a lot of fun by playing our own stuff - and we only play since 6 month together so .... we're still working on the songs!
There are so many coverbands - we don't want to be like them - but it takes time... ;-)

We appraciate every feedback we get! Thank you very much!
You can also write some lines in our website-guestbook if you want... ;-) That would be cool!

Bye,
Domenic
