a semi-bluff with goofy stack sizes...
main villian in this hand only has 120$ in his stack. I haven't been at the table long, but it seems loosish.
200 NL full ring 4 limpers to me (villian is CO), I call in SB with 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], BB knocks pot 12$ flop Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] -- checked to MP1, MP1 bets 12$, villian raises to 48$, hero???? I'm not worried about MP1 as I'm 95% sure he has top pair and will be folding to the flop raise. If I put CO all in, it will be 70 back to him and the pot will be... about 190. So I'm not counting on a lot of fold equity. Call, push, or fold? |

limitted fold equity, no direct odds
fold is best [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] |

there's just very little value in continuing with this hand as played

Re: a semi-bluff with goofy stack sizes...
Even if we assume I only have 10-15% fold equity, this is a push if vilian has top pair often.
still like a fold? |

Re: a semi-bluff with goofy stack sizes...
let's say your equity is 30% if you just turn over your hand
by pushing you... win 15% of the time, win 30% of the rest of the time.. ev +15%(72)+30%(your potential profit ai)-70%(what you lose ai) very bad i think [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] edit, if my math is off, i'm four tabling and two tabling 2p2 and aim |

Re: a semi-bluff with goofy stack sizes...
how do you figure 30% equity??!!? I have 12 outs against top pair = ~45% equity.

Re: a semi-bluff with goofy stack sizes...
fold here. I'd be shocked if you have more than 2% FE. He has a set often, KQ isn't folding after raising the flop like that and he's not folding a higher FD either which has you is bad shape

Re: a semi-bluff with goofy stack sizes...
Fold. This type of hand works because of fold equity and hidden value. You have none.
