2/4 AA against zeKGB 200bb deep
Villain is around 25/14, and after 600 hands history a very solid player. He generally likes to raise on the flop. He's definitely raising my cbet here with any overpair, thought he 3bets me preflop pretty light too.

Re: 2/4 AA against zeKGB 200bb deep
He seems pretty adamant about protecting his hand. I think a med pp fits here, but with 25/15 and the deep stacks is it possible he has 2 pair on the flop?

Re: 2/4 AA against zeKGB 200bb deep
If he 3bets you light, his reraising range might be TT+ from the small blind?
You think he would take such a line with anything lower than TT? On this board there is a good chance (about 50 %) that he hit a set (i think we dont need to worry about draws). Pot would be 580 and he would have left 500 by the river, so he is playing for stacks... I would fold. |

Re: 2/4 AA against zeKGB 200bb deep
you really only beat 88 and 99, and I imagine he 3-bets those a decent amount of time pf (not always). Fold.

Re: 2/4 AA against zeKGB 200bb deep
My default against this guy would be to call turn and fold river. He's probably good enough to both lead and c/r with sets, but given history it seems that he'll often c/r a set, esp this deep. A3 is pretty unlikely given PF, and so is 76 but this is the only possibly draw he can have. I think he can have air quite often too, atleast often enough to call turn. He also doesn't seem weak enough to always give up on turn, especially with these stacks. So I expect him to fire a 2nd barrel with 76/air/88 very often (I dunno, he might decide to turn 88 into a bluff). But just by calling the turn his bluffing frequency should be much lower on the river. So yeah I'd call turn and fold river unless I hit one of my 6 outs. Good chance you're ahead + outs + small chance he bluff pushes river, makes turn a standard call for me.
