Default OSU/ILL line move

I was liking OSU -1 earlier today. Line has moved from OSU -1 to +1/1.5 at most books. Anyone with some info for this move?

I bet Illinois +1.5 last night. That probably moved it.

Big Ten home teams are money so far this year. I'm not big on Illinois, but I think they win this outright. Ohio State has proven nothing in true road games this year.

Bah, they're proving something now. Ohio State up 36-22 at the half.

I'm so pissed I woke up too late and missed this line. I would have bet big up to OSU -6. All you had to do was watch one Illinois game this season to know how good they weren't. What a [censored] beat for me

Many systems and power rankings, such as Pomeroy, had the game as a split because the Illini have been very efficient in their games against inferior opponents.

A scaled measure looking at how they had done against quality, ie only Miami (OH), Bradley, Maryland, Arizona, Mizzou, Xavier, and Michigan, had them 7 to 8 point dogs even with home court.

I did a write up that was pro the Buckeyes side at -1.5

Not my best pick. This Ohio State team hasn't played D like that all year. I think this just shows this team is capable of dominating at times. I think they will also have some bad losses mixed in.

I'd really expect Ohio State to be outperforming where they should be at power rankings-wise for a while. When a new player comes into the lineup, it takes 10 games or so for the players to get used to how they want to be distributing the ball, how to rotate on defense, etc. They're just now getting that chemistry with Oden.

I remember the year that Georgia Tech lost to UConn in the title game, they started out the year 13-0 and then when Bynum came into the lineup after sitting out due to transfer rules, they looked completely lost for about a month and a half. They ended up going 7-9 in conference play and didn't really figure things out until the ACC tournament.
