what\'s your least favorite word?

This came up today in conversation - and it ended up being an interesting conversation....it seems that there are some words that just grate on people for some reason.

Niggardly. I actually like the word but I 'can't' use it because few people know what it means and it sounds racist. This manlost his job over it.
