I dont know about my river raise, seems pointless as I have discovered at this level turn raises almost always mean 'I HIT'. |

3bet the turn. our hand is good a lot. River is fine given turn action.

Re: KQs - two pair - check raised on turn
I'd 3bet the turn. You've got the best 2pair hand, and BB has 2pair more often than anything else. You've also got MP2 trapped.
I think the river raise is good as played. The comparison is between call turn/raise river and just 3betting the turn. The first one is good because he'll have a harder time 3betting you with a better hand. The second one is good because we have enough equity and MP2 is more likely to call one more on the turn than any on the river. 3betting the turn is the more conventional play. |

Re: KQs - two pair - check raised on turn
3bet the turn is my preferred play here, get the money in now when we're more sure we're ahead.

You have to 3-bet this turn. Not even close (+0.2 BB at least).

*grunch*
3 bet the turn. You already have the best hand most of the time, and even if BB has 77 or something, you still have your FD. Combine that with MP2 continuing to call, the turn should be reraised. |

I'm 3betting the turn with the caller in there and the flush redraw. We often have the best hand at this point and if not we have a ton of outs. I expect bb to show down two pair. |

Re: KQs - two pair - check raised on turn
Three betting the turn was my preferred play, and I think the river raise was compensating for missing that raise.
As I feared though, he had pocket sevens. Two pair has not been kind to me since Decemeber, this, along with the board pairing giving villians unlikely trips, has been almost 100% of the time when I get an unexpected raise. |

Re: KQs - two pair - check raised on turn
I take this line a fair bit with strong hands. As others have mentioned this def. isn't the time for it with the 3rd player in there.
