if the guys is really a little too passive postflop is he ever betting anything we beat on the river? Against some passive types check/folding would be my play. As they get more aggro I think we can bet/fold or even bet/call against the ones that occasionally do stupid [censored].

Well what's he 3-betting with? Perhaps 88-AA plus AK/AQ?

What hands is he checking the turn with? 88, 99? QQ with no club if very passive, AQ. Obviously he's never folding a better hand but you'll get a value bet paid off by a smaller pair or AQ.

yeah... I think if I check, he's gonna value bet pretty much everything that is ahead of me and check behind all his [censored]. maybe check/folding has some merit... I can't see him bet 88-99 there, but maybe he could sack up and bet an UI AQ as a bluff. I'm not sure.

Missed the slightly passive postflop "detail", Guess I bet/fold.
