Default Unreal ending to Oiler/Stars game last night, 16 seconds left

16 seconds left and Patrik Stephan creates a play that should become part of every hockey highlight reel that will be shown for about 100 years

Unreal ending to Stars/Oilers game

For those who haven't seen it.

The Oil blew a 4-1 lead and should have lost it in regulation.....

wow. I mean... wow. That's absurd. It's not even like he botched an open net shot off the post or anything. He didn't even shoot it.

Did the puck roll on him or something as he tried the poke it in? Or was he just trying to be a good sport or something?

Wow.

If you freezed time while the Dallas guy was on the breakaway, and were to lay odds on the Oilers tying the game up, I wonder what they would have been.

This is one of the most improbable things to ever happen in sports.

Why couldn't this happen in a Game 7?

Considering I had a bet on the Oilers to win in regulation and OT, I loved watching that happen live. I was just about to flip the channel....hahaha

damn Oilers still lost in OT, so the reg bet pushed and the other lost

I was watching it at home live and the TV replays showed that just when he decided to shoot, the puck hit a rut in the ice and jumped as his stick slid underneath.
