could you make it so we are logged in indefinitely?

when i check the "Remember me on each visit." box when i log in, it only keeps me logged in for about a week then i have to log in again. most other forums keep you logged in until you logout or clear your cookies.
it isn't a big deal to log in every week, but after a year it gets annoying.

Yeah its annoying that when you are logged out you lose track of the threads/posts you've read. At least i do.

You can sidestep this problem. When you are forced to log in again, log in then immediately close your browser. Then reopen it and it keeps the memory of your read and unread posts.

I've been logged in for like ever. I don't experience this problem (unless I delete cookies).

this sounds like an annoying solution. if you just go to the "2+2 Forums" link in order to sign in, instead of clicking the left menu bar on an actual specific forum, then it will also remember your read posts...
