Default $6 Bubble play

UTG has been pushing some hands like this when he doues not have to. He has been called and won every time, not always with good cards (...), so I am probobly ahead of his range. The thing is that the play is not that good, and I feel confident that I can make it into the money without risking all my chips here.

Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Tournament

Seat 4: Hero t2040
Seat 1: UTG t8870

Seat 7: BB t3245

Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is Button with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG raises all-in t8870, Hero folds, 2 folds.
Uncalled bets: t8670 returned to UTG.

Calling is bad except if he pushes more than 80% of his hands. I really don't think he does.

Fold.

I don't see why calling would be bad.
you are ahead most of the time here.

SNGPT is cool.

a) the mathematics of ICM can give you a fairly good answer

and

b) without having done said mathematics, I would fold. you have 10bb, and plenty of time remaining. even if you call, you're unlikely to be better than 50/50 of winning. EVEN IF you call, and win, you're still not guaranteed to be ITM.
