Looking for a laptop between 1000-1500, any good deal online?

Looking for a laptop right now. Just bascially going to use it to play poker, surf the web and watch dvd. I'm looking at the inspiron 9400 duo core right now from Dell.ca which is going for $1299 CDN.

Are there any better deals online right now?

I guess it depends on your other requirements. I just bought a new HP Pavilion before the holiday with a DVD and 15.4" monitor (great quality screen) for about $800 at Office Depot. (i had a $200 off electronics coupon, so it was about 600 for me).
