8+ tables...how do you do it?
I don't mean how do you concentrate on all the tables, I just want to know how you manage all the tables? Do you use multiple monitors, cascade the tables or only play Stars where you can resize tables?

Most people find it MUCH MUCH easier when there isn't any overlap, so you're going to have to have two 1600x1200 resolutions monitors to have 8 tables open, unless you're playing at Party Poker or PokerStars, where you can fit nine tables without overlap on one 1600x1200 monitor. If you ever really got into video games, that's supposed to help you be a better multi-tabler. |

Get a second monitor. Also, a small amount of overlap is fine just don't cover your cards up.

Re: 8+ tables...how do you do it?
i've gone back and forth, these days I'm comfortable with 12 stars tables on one 1600X1200 monitor and other programs running on the other monitor. The attention grabbing of Stars for the active table is pretty cool.

[/ QUOTE ] Also very important...don't overlap where buttons on a just-popped up table may be accidentally be pressed. Folding when you the nuts may hurt, but calling an all in with nothing will piss you off. |

[/ QUOTE ] This happened to me so many times before I actualy got smart enough to move the tables in a different way. op, When I first started playing I had no idea how anyone could play more then 2 tables, now I can 8 table six max pretty easily. Eventualy tons of things just become automatic that you're usualy never having more then 1 hard choice at a time. |
