easy fold. any 2 are still plenty of overcards. You wouldn't want to risk going out here with a small pair.

What makes this so interesting "to me" is the Button is sooo short. I may flat call if I think it would slow down the SB. I would not go broke on this hand... but even if you triple up the Button, he is all in on the next hand and again on the following hand if he gets (worst case) tripled 2 times.
If the SB is likely to fire any flop, I fold. Will he fire dry knowing his cards are going to be seen and a flat call from you should look like a lot of strength. |

Well I pushed the 77, because the Button was so small I thought he had called with anything, for him it didn't matter if now or next hand. The SB had the situation, that with him raising and me folding he would make a safe profit by getting the blinds and as u mentiont the button was no real threat to both of us.
So my guess was the SB was on a move. With my push he knows I have a hand and if he folds I win big pot and get a leading position in the HU. When he calls and wins vs me and the Button I am still 2nd in the tourney and that is likly anyway since he has more chips than I have. The only demage for me is when the SB calls and wins vs me but loses vs the Button but I tought that so unlikly I pushed it. So I would be interstet if that was reasonable or silly. And sorry for my bad English! |

Push this. It would be a disaster if Button won the hand and you go out in 3rd place. But it is a very good calculated risk. When you win the hand you will have gained substantial equity in the SNG. Half of the time when you lose the hand, you will get 2nd place money anyway.
What is your pushing range here? I would go with 66+, AJo+, ATs+. |
