Default 200 NL- TPTK on a difficult board

Villan is at 30/10/.94 Don't really have a good reason for checking the flop, wanted to keep the pot small and shut down if a diamond came on the turn, but looking back I probably should've bet the flop.

Does anyone here call and re-evaluate on the river? I never know what a check mini-raise means.

whole hand is gross IMO especially the flop check. you really don't need to wait for the turn especially because you're in position. that's also why you don't really need to worry about pot control as much.

i would reraise turn, i don't think he's checking a flush twice.

Yeah, I know the whole hand is awful I was getting tired and when that happens I do stupid things.

I'm assuming if he calls a re-raise on the turn I'd just hope to check behind on the river?

If you do get called after reraising turn, i'd check any river.

yeah if he calls then try to check behind, and fold if he bets.

i think reraising is better than calling turn because you can prevent a 4th diamond from falling and avoid having a difficult river.

Bet flop and bet 1/2 pot on turn to a non-diamond. Check behind a diamond turn.
