Villain was 23/11/1.4 through 150-ish datamined hands, but he had joined the table a revolution ago, so no specific reads. Blinds were passive so if I could avoid a PFR from the button, pretty sure I was getting cheap multiway action for my suited connector.

River is an easy c/c. He could play a set this way, as well as QJ. The rest of the hand looks fine to me. |

The river Q isn't as worrisome just because of all the heavy turn action. If you're behind on the river then you were probably already behind on the turn. I'm discounting most of the hands you're ahead on the turn. I think this villain would likely raise TT, 99, 88 preflop. I don't think he'd likely slowplay T9s or 98s on the flop. So I am not so hot about turn 3-bet, but given that you made it and villain capped, just c/c river. I think QJ is villain's most likely holding. |

Tough to figure a set as 88/99/TT may have raised it up preflop from the button. Two pair or QJ is more likely.
I agree with check/call the river. |

[/ QUOTE ] Based on button's stats (assuming he'll play more loosely on the button) ~70-75% of the time we'll be 4-handed and have last position. It's the other 25% of cases where button limps/raises that could cost an extra bet or hinder hero's ability to semi-bluff/steal. |
